The K2 T1 Snowboard Boot is where technology and tradition meet to take charge of the mountain. Putting the Boa system on the inside and laces on the outside, the T1 combines personalized fit and on-command control. The Boa-Fit liner has the ratchet and wire system built in for instantaneously dialed comfort. The liner's lightweight padding forms to your foot with each wearing. On the outer boot, K2 uses traditional laces – the choice of their world-class team – for infinitely variable support. Advanced forward lean helps to maintain the knees- bent position that better riders prefer, while a 3D tongue wraps your shin in padding. The tongue has a stiffener that can be removed for park riding or left in for shredding the steep and deep. Awesome Vibram Ultra-Light soles remove material where not needed for minimal weight and maximum traction. You'll move mountains in these team-preferred boots.
Bottom Line: Take charge.
What you thought:
These boots are pricey but you defiantly get what you pay for. I have either ridden or tried on all of the K2 T1 boots with the Boa liner, and these are the best so far. The liners remained the same as the previous 2 seasons, but the insole/footbed has been upgraded for more arch support and a comfy fit. The biggest improvement would be the new Vibram sole, they stick to everything! Last year's Vibram was good, but this year it's on a different level altogether. This is an easy boot to ride with. The only complaint I had was with the toe box. Personally I think it's a little too small, but you might like a snug fit. - MCM
I rode the T1 boots at one of the demos I worked last year, and I loved them and I am riding them this year. I know that they are a pricey boot but it is all worth it. I know from last winter that if you are riding and need that little bit of freedom in ankle flex you jut pop the boa and adjust to your likeness in about 3.5 seconds. - Anonymous
I just got these boots and they are comfortable as well as snug where they need to be right out of the box. The BOA lacing is the best thing about these. Just a few clicks and that's it. These are the best boots I've worn so far. - Bazehead
