Are you heading to NZ this season

Since my last trip to New Zealand almost two years ago now I have been dying to get back there, but with work commitments I just haven't been able to find the time. This year looks quite promising so I wanted to know if any of you were hitting the slopes this season? As you may know I picked up new bindings while I was in Switzerland last year so I never really got the chance to give them a good run. I think I used them twice. If I do head to New Zealand I am pretty sure I will be heading back to...

    Burton Custom Ics

Well I know I have been away for over two months working on another blog project but I am back to my passion of snowboarding and this blog. I know I mentioned awhile ago that I might look at moving this blog over to another blog platform. But for the time being I am keeping everything the same. I might work on the design a bit though. Enjoy the first of many more posts. No board has had more influence...

    Missing the Snow

It is about now. Just over 7 weeks since I got back from Swizerland that I start to wish I could just grab my board and head up the mountain. Unfortunately for me heading up the mountain is a lot harder then I seems, especially with me living in Perth, Australia. That is my dilema! It is around now that I start to think about a trip to NewZealand for their winter season. I know from my last trip there...

    One of our best sponsors

You see their gear almost all over this blog. Simply because not only is their site design nice but their snow boarding gear is great. They have a huge range at cheap prices. So instead of reviewing either a snowboarding website or a product I thought I would review the ProBoardShop site instead.Ok so let's get started. Like most snowboarders I am a fan of colour. As soon as you load up the ProBoardShop...

    Burton Driver X Snowboard Boots

I came across these boots in a Snowboarding shop in Davos while I was there. It is a great idea and I can see myself ordering these before my next boarding trip. There are no show laces any more. It is the same system as that which is on the inside boot. That kind of draw string! If you demand the same balls-out POWER as Terje Haakonsen, look no further than the Burton Driver X snowboard boot™. From...

    Compiling a List

Just thought I would drop a quick post in to let you know I am currently compiling a list of top 10 boards for 2008. As you can imagine there are quite a few to get through so it will take some time. Who knows it might be finished tonight but it's more likely that I will post it tomorrow at some point. Now I have gone in search for some information on the Oneil Evolution snowboarding comp that I saw in Davos. There were heaps of photographers so I thought it would be easy to find some pics. Let...

    Back in Perth

Ok so I got back on Monday, but I have had to spend a bit of time catching up with work and things like that.I suppose the first thing to mention about my trip was it was great. Not only did we have great snow but we managed to check out the Oneil Evolution Snowboarding comp which was held at Jakobshorn while we were there. Those guys are mad with what they can do.I hit the fun park at the top of Jakobshorn a few times. That was great, but I managed to blow the bass coils on my Sennheiser ear phones,...
